Get the ParentVUE app in one of two ways:
OPTION 1
Make sure that you go to the ParentVUE website to update your student information and account before trying to upload the New ParentVUE app!
ParentVUE is the SCS app that allows you to easily access your child's school information throughout the year. If you have the previous app, you will need to delete that app. Follow the instructions below.
1. Update your Child's/Children's Information
- Step 1: Sweetwater City Schools Website
- Step 2: Register Now, click link
- Step 3: Login to Parentvue- Username & Password, email will reset password
2. Update the ParentVUE App0
- Delete the old version of the app
- Install the new version of the app by go to your appropriate app store and type ParentVUE New to get the correct app
- After downloading, follow the directions on the screen
- Type in the zip code (if asked) and choose Sweetwater City Schools and choose "YES"
- Type in the same username and password you used in the old app/website (You may need to press Login twice). It will then take you through a short tour (if you choose)
- You should then be able to use the app on your phone
notes:
- After your initial update online, you can always go to the website and go to ParentVUE by clicking the ParentVUE picture or going directly to the URL if you are having trouble with the app.
- Your username and password have not changed. However, if you saved it on your computer, you may need to delete the information and save it when you go to the new URL
- If you have forgotten your password, you may go to the website link and cluck the Forgot Password icon. You should get a password reset sent to your email address you used to sign up for PVUE.
- If you have issues logging in, please contact your child's school.
OPTION 2
Come visit Mr. Jones in the Library at Sweetwater High School between 1 and 2:30 on Wednesday and Thursday. Just check in at the office and let them know you are here to see Mr. Jones about help with ParentVUE. You can also call and speak with Mr. Jones to set up an appointment at another time, but times and spaces are limited.
Senior parents who come to the Parent Night: College Edition Tuesday night August 25th can both learn about all things college from the SHS Guidance Department and get help from Mr. Jones setting up their accounts.
