SHS Book Club!

The Book Club is excited for this upcoming year! We try to read at least 2 books each school year (1 in the Fall, and 1 in the Spring) and then meet periodically throughout the school year to discuss those books.  If at all possible, we try to watch a movie of that book after we finish it.  In November of 2023, members of the book club along with all three sponsors went to see "The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes" in Athens and had an amazing time. We just finished "Sunrise on the Reaping" by Suzane Collins this past Spring, and we hope to go see the movie when it is released in November. With school just starting, we have not had a chance to decide what book we would like to read this Fall, but as soon as we know, we will share that information here!  If you are interested in being a part of the SHS Book Club, please see Mrs. Hill, Miss Coley, or Mr. Jones.
